Kaneka 60W
Thin film silicon PV technology which generates electricity even in low light conditions.
Applications
• New build and retro fit roofing
• Flat roof on frames with 15º slope
• Cladding systems
Kaneka panels are mounted on to the roof with an air gap between the roof and the module. This shades the roof material, increasing its lifetime and reducing the heat gain in the building. Groups of solar PV modules are connected to 'string' inverters, ensuring that the maximum possible amount of energy can be collected from the various sub-arrays at all times and in all conditions. The mounting frames for the modules have been designed to integrate with standing seam roofing systems without penetrating the original roof or reducing the roofs performance. The lightweight mounting system and solar PV module configurations can easily be adapted to new-build or existing buildings anywhere in the world.
